FOUNDATION | POSITION | AUTORITY
2 Chronical 20:15
He said: “Listen, King Jehoshaphat and all who live in Judah and Jerusalem! This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s. 16 Tomorrow march down against them. They will be climbing up by the Pass of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the gorge in the Desert of Jeruel. 17 You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’”
Serving in our community comes with battles. The enemy has his radar on us as we bring hope and God’s love into dark places. One thing is certain—he will try to kill, steal, and destroy our unity, relationships, joy, and hope for the future.
But God has 2025 in His hands! Our role is to stand firm on our foundation—His unchanging truth—take up our position where He has placed us and walk boldly in the authority He has given us. As we move forward, we hold fast to our mission scripture.
This year, we stand strong, knowing that victory is already won in Christ!
1 Peter 5:2
Care for the flock that God has entrusted to you. Watch over it willingly, not grudgingly—not for what you will get out of it, but because you are eager to serve God.
And for this, we will not be afraid, nor discouraged for He is fighting for us.

A JOYFUL START TO OUR CHILDREN’S MINISTRY!
Tuesday marked the first day of our Children’s Ministry, and what a wonderful beginning it was! We welcomed 60 new 3-year-olds who will be journeying with us this year, and we are so excited to see what the year holds for them!
The day was filled with fun—we got to know our new Supersterre kids, met their parents, and the kids got to meet and bond with their new “Tannie-Mamma.” We sang, danced, and discovered the beautiful story and love of Jesus. Each child also got to colour pictures of things they loved; it was our way of getting to know them.
Our vision is to connect with every child and their family, partnering with parents to help build a strong foundation that gives each child hope for the future.
Throughout the year, we will focus on developing both fine and gross motor skills to keep children active and engaged. We will also be encouraging healthy eating to nourish their bodies. More importantly, we aim to support their emotional and spiritual growth, helping them build strong faith and character.

EXCITING START FOR OUR PRE-SCHOOL GROUP!
We are thrilled to welcome 56 new little learners to our pre-school program this year! We are excited to implement the AmazingBrainz program for the fifth year in a row. Our vision is to prepare them for the big school ahead by ensuring they are school-ready and stimulated in a nurturing and loving environment.
The first three weeks have been an exciting journey of adjustment, and our young friends have settled in beautifully. While some were a little unsure about our daily routine and rules at first, they quickly adapted with the help of our dedicated assistants.
Free play has been a highlight, with children enjoying outdoor activities like kicking tennis balls, playing with bean bags and hula hoops, and exploring many other fun games. Our morning rings, filled with singing and dancing, have brought smiles all around. We are looking forward to a fantastic year of learning, laughter, and growth as we prepare our Grade RR class for 2025!

PRAYING FOR THE NATIONS IN 2025
Our Avodah group for intellectually disabled adults meets four days a week, providing a safe and engaging space for our 20 members while giving their parents the opportunity to recharge or earn an income. Each day is filled with Bible study, gross and fine motor activities, arts and crafts, and joyful games.
Our vision for 2025 is to pray for all nations to hear the Good News of Jesus and be saved by choosing Him as their Savior. As Jesus commanded:
“Go into all the world and preach the Good News to all creation.” — Mark 16:15
We are “traveling” the world and to make learning even more exciting, we are creating personalized passports for each member, allowing them to collect ink stamps as they “travel” through different countries. We look forward to a year of discovery, prayer, and growth as we continue to share the love of Jesus!
As part of this mission, we are teaching our members about different countries and cultures—exploring their heritage, food, clothing, animals, sports, and beliefs. More importantly, we are committed to praying for the salvation of people in every nation. The Bible tells us:
“And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come.” — Matthew 24:14
We take this to heart by encouraging our members to intercede for others. Through this, they not only learn the power of prayer but also develop a heart for the world, shifting their focus from themselves to the needs of others. Together, we stand in faith, trusting that God’s love will reach every corner of the earth!
