The time I have been with the MVW family I have come to learn and experience many things. I had a change of heart and have a greater appreciation for the smaller things in life. I have come to learn that it is better to give than to receive; to listen more, talk less and to give more of yourself.

Ma’s for Wellington is a dynamic team. I am blessed and privileged to be part of Ma’s for Wellington. I have always longed to join and work with a group, and especially to work with children.

And the Lord is so faithful and knew my heart’s desire. A Tannie-Mamma (volunteer) invited me to just come take a look at what MVW is doing, and from the first day I just felt at home and the children crawled deep in my heart.

The time I have been with the MVW family I have come to learn and experience many things. I had a change of heart and have a greater appreciation for the smaller things in life. I have come to learn that it is better to give than to receive; to listen more, talk less and to give more of yourself. In doing so I got to know God better, and my relationship with God has become deeper in the 4 years that I have been part of Ma’s for Wellington. I have come to learn what love is, not just any love, God’s love, the deep unconditional love of God.

To be part of Ma’s for Wellington is one of my biggest blessings. They are like my family, from the management to our precious Superstar children. I have come to learn what it is to be Jesus’ hands and feet. My life has taken a different turn since I became part of Ma’s.

I learned we must lead, nurture, protect and love. I can now apply this in my own life to also help my nearest and dearest, to also love and cherish them. I am proud to be a Tannie mamma at Ma’s for Wellington.
